. Striped Lips and Mondays

Back to work bright and early tomorrow.I can't wait to start another week. It has been a brilliant job experience so far.

. Home

Put up a few twinkle lights and a mini tree that emulates Charlie Brown's Christmas tree. Very little extra money made it hard to do anything extravagant for the holiday, but I've never been one for extravagance so it suits perfectly. Can't wait to just be near my family for the holiday, will be home soon. Cozy small spaces really are what I adore. . . . I have figured out that I could never successfully live in a huge house.

. The Book Challenge

I ran across This List online, and have decided to go ahead and give it a go. I've read a few of these in the past for school, but will have to refresh my mind by reading them again. Tonight I will be starting with Pride and Prejudice. I'll read them in between classes/work, so it should take a while. . . . . I really love to read, and by doing this little project it'll make me slow down and set aside some time to do so. Also am thinking that it will inspire some ideas and renew some creativity. I'll write a little post when I finish up a novel to document the process<3

. Winston Has Friends

. Graffiti Adventures

Savannah has some little nooks of graffiti here and there, this past summer my good friend Jackie Osborne had to take some fun photos for a class at SCAD. Sarah, Meg, and I all had a great time goofing off for a few hours to help her out with the project. I especially enjoyed Sarah's black wig that she was told to wear :) An unusual and good night at its finest.

.Bruce Munro

Been absolutely addicted to Bruce Munro's lovely light installations lately. It sounds strange, but - - - - - I love light so much. It's already a beautiful thing to work with and manipulate, but the integration of it into the earth's natural surroundings makes it even more beautiful than it already is. Whenever I view pictures of his two installations::: Field of Lights and Waves:::my eyes turn into heart shapes (as seen in many cartoons) , he is definitely worth checking out.

My good friend Allie and I have been discussing doing a mini installation of our own at Tybee's beach for about a year now, I'm hoping that it might happen before we leave Savannah. I'd imagine a few permits might have to be obtained before infiltrating the sand with glow sticks :)

.Whale Watching

I've had these two little sketchie/color studies for a while now, I'm really wanting to expand them into something real with hints of personality soon. Maybe when I have some free time I'll work on getting this going.
